Boise & Pictures

For Memorial Day weekend, Jason & I loaded up and headed to Boise. We had an appt to get pictures taken on Saturday afternoon at a park in Boise, then planned to meet up with my friend Traci, whom I haven't seen in YEARS. She moved to Tennessee, it feels like AGES ago, and just recently moved back to Moscow. So, we planned a get together!!!!

Here are a few pictures that Amy (my old roommate from Boise & Vegas) took. She owns Heath Photography, and did a GREAT job.....THANKS AMY!!!

Traci, Steve (her husband) Jason & I, playing pool and just hanging out, we had a great time!!! And just for the record, we beat the boys and they STILL owe us pedicures!!!

We came home on Sunday, and did lots of spring cleaning.....on our vehicles! Vacuumed, washed, cleaned out............the WORKS!!!!! I had a GREAT long weekend..................can't wait for the next one!!!

SIDRA Race

This last weekend, Jason helped put on a SIDRA (Southern Idaho Desert Race Association) race outside of Blackfoot. Jason spent the weekend prior, out setting up the 8 mile course with a couple other guys, and ALL of Friday. We got out there around 6 on Saturday morning to get set up. I helped with Registration and scoring. We had about 145 riders on Saturday, three different races. Sunday, got out there around 7, did the same thing. We only had about 45 riders, but it was a team race. At the VERY last minute, Jason decided to find a partner to race with.


Jason is the 5th guy back coming around the 1st corner, but came through the 1st checkpoint 2nd!

The kids were here, they came out with us, helped flag the race, slow people down through the check points and the pits, kept me company!! We were all EXHAUSTED on Sunday night. We went and had dinner with my parents for Mother's Day, and drove the kids home. This is what our backseat looked like on the ride to Logan. :) (Notice ALL of them are sunburned, NO ONE had sunscreen on Sat)

Super Cross in Salt Lake

We went down to the Super Cross this weekend in SLC....it was AWESOME, but freezing!!
We had box seats which was nice because we could go inside and still see the race. LOTS and LOTS of friends were there, so it made it that much more fun!!!! Can't WAIT til next year!!!

Slacker....

WOW!!! I've been slacking! Here is a quick update........

Indoor Golf Tournament: All 6 of us girls, plus our driver, enter in the "Civitan Indoor Golf Tournament" each year, this year was a BLAST!! Had our shirts made at the last minute, like normal.....forgot a golf ball, we had to steal one from the boys. (I'm surprised we didn't lose it). To keep our record of last place, we played AWESOME........but we still managed to get last place! Which they give a prize for last place....................we got golf passes, I'm thinking they are trying to tell us something!!!!

Morgan's 14th Birthday: We went to Malad for her dance competition and gave her her birthday presents. She FINALLY got a phone...........PURE EXCITEMENT!!!

Fun in the Snow!

For Valentine's Day & President's Day weekend, we up to Island Park to our friends cabin to do some snow mobiling! We had a BLAST! The first day we rode about 85 miles, and the 2nd about 60, which included a ride to Mesa Falls, which was SO pretty!! Man, I was SO sore!!!

Mesa falls was AWESOME! I only fell ONCE going down the snow covered stairs. Jason hadn't ever been before, and we decided we'll go back during the summer too!

At night, we occupied ourselves playing the Wii.....I was the bowling champ....with a score of 226!!!! :)

Valentine's Day!

Jason & I decided this year for Valentine's we weren't going to get each other gifts and instead use the money we'd spend to get a new TV or two. I came back to work from lunch yesterday and these were in my office!!!!! THANKS JAS................I love you!!

I stole one of Jason's race pictures, hoping he didn't notice it was gone, and took it to get framed. This was his last race, last year.....Vegas to Reno!
